4/2/18 Spring Scout Blog: The USI commit has a stocky build with has some twitch to his game. Started at SS and showed good actions with some range and a slightly above average arm with carry across the diamond. Stood out all night at the plate making hard contact. Hits from slightly open crouched stance. Showed short quick compact bat with pop. Barreled up the baseball multiple times on the evening including a HR to CF and also a laser to the LCF gap. Hopped on the bump and worked in the 79-82 range from a high arm slot. Competed with 3 pitches on mound but future at next level is somewhere in the INF as hit tool plays well.

High level barrel awareness. McNay ran a 6.95 60yd dash.
