6/12/18: 2019 OF/LHP hits from the left side slightly crouch setup. Smooth back and load trigger with some hand wrap. Stride is short, bat speed was quick through the zone with an uphill bat path. Showed good line drive ability to the gaps. In the OF showed good actions. Footwork was quick and through the baseball. Exchange was clean and quick and arm strength was above average at 87 with accuracy. On the mound pitches from high ¾ arm slot. Arm stroke was quick and loose. Good tempo with repeatable delivery to plate. FB showed some cut action at 80-81 T82. Also flashed CB with some depth at 67-70.

Strong, athletic framed junior outfielder swung from left handed side with short stroke, producing above average bat speed. Flat bat, produces hard line drive contact to all fields. Small load, hands stay neutral off the back shoulder and work short to the baseball. Lower half stays connected and strong in swing, loses feet at times on finish. Tendency to drift, slow bat on ball away. Strong base, potential to create better launch angle and drive baseball out of park. Athletic outfield actions, good bounce and first step. Short arm action with high ¾ slot, delivered accurate throws with average carry. More arm velo and strength to be developed. Interesting follow in the 2019 class with twitchy actions and more upside to be developed in the batters box.
