6/21/16: A 5 foot 11 170 pound catcher showcased quick feet and fast arm behind the plate.  Transfer is quick and throws were around the bag.  Pop times ranged between 1.96 and 2.05.  Offensively, Damon has a balanced setup with a leg kick.  Short, level swing which produced line drives in BP.  Has some twitch both offensively and defensively.
2/20/16: 5-foot-11, 170 pound receiver was 77 from the crouch and had pop times of 2.01, 2.05 and 2.07.  Showcased a quick transfer and quick arm action.  Good direction on his throws.  Offensively, hits out of a wide, open setup.  Smooth load with a short stride. Dives at times.  Showcased average bat speed .  Short path to the baseball, produced line drives.  Rhythm is a little choppy.  Recorded a high exit velocity o 84 mph. OF-5-foot-11, 170 pounder ran a 7.37-60 and was 89 from the OF. Loose, high ¾ arm action with some carry.  Good accuracy on his throws.  Quick fluid feet.  Clean exchange.  Plays through the ball with some athleticism.

7/29/14:
5 foot 10 inches, 155 pounds, 8.03/60, 2.16/2.26 pop time. I like him behind the plate, he works hard and makes pitcher look good. Athletic player that throws 75 mph to second with carry and on target. He hits from a balanced stance with a short stride and average bat speed. His swing is compact, line drive hitter that will generate power as he gets stronger.

6/11/14:
5-foot-9, 155 pound catcher showcased solid actions behind the plate for a 2017.  Needs to continue to improve receiving ability and agility, but should come along as he matures.  Pop times ranged from 2.01-2.19 and was 72 from the crouch.  From the OF possesses some arm strength at 81 mph with carry and a loose arm action.  Moves well with a clean exchange, but has a tendency to pack. Showcased soft hands.  Offensively starts wide.  Lots of movement , 2-part swing.  Good balance throughout with an uphill swing path.
