2/23/2019: Derrick Wiening, SS/2B, Munster HS, 2021, 5 foot 8, 150 pounds, ran a 7.54, had an exit velocity of 81 mph, and threw 76 mph across the diamond. Uses leg lift to load, hands separate early, hands work through the ball with average bat speed into a two hand finish. Footwork and release are both good defensively. Profiles as more of a 2B at this point with current arm strength.
