Kennedy is a big, physical left-handed hitter that looks like he should be on a football field. He takes one of the more impressive batting practices in the state, launching towering home runs. He hit one in the sectional finals to help propel Lafayette Central Catholic to its fourth-straight state title that still has not landed. Kennedy's question mark is if he has the bat speed to handle better velocity. Currently, his power only shows up from center field to left center.
