4/5/13 Game Notes: Shipley is an undersized middle infielder that hits from the left side. Shipley is a typical two-hole hitter in the Cathedral lineup; handles the bat well, moves runners, bunts well, and does not possess much power. Shipley's best skill is the ability to pick it. Shipley moves really well in the field laterally and will get to more balls than 95 percent of the infielders in the state. His hands are soft with good arm strength.
2/25/12: Harry Shipley, is a 5-foot-9 140 pound MIF from Cathedral. Shipley shows advanced actions for a sophomore in the middle. He showed aggressive feet and stays down through the ball. Shipley has quick feet with good hands and range. At the plate, Shipley projects as a two hole type hitter. He handles the bat well from an open stance. He will be a high contact guy with limited power potential.
