3/26/2019 Spring Scout Blog: One of the top left-handed hitters in the class turned on an 86 mph fastball for a triple.  Short, quick swing, keeps barrel in the zone for a long time.  

9/15/2018: Purdue recruit. Physical 6-foot-2, 195-pound left-handed hitter. Moves well for his size/strength; legged out two infield hits on 4.24 and 4.29 run times down the line.

6/12/2018: 2019 OF who hits from the left side, tall open setup in the box. Short stride to baseball, used hand wrap as trigger. Showed uphill bat path with extension out in front to pull side. Did fully use lower half in swing but still showed pop in bat. In the OF showed good footwork working through the baseball, arm strength was average at 83 but accurate to bases.

6/13/2017: 6-foot-2, 172 pound lanky left-handed hitting outfielder showcased some pop to pull side.  Uphill path, partial rotation of hips. Balanced swing, line drives to all fields.  High exit velocity of 82mph.   Defensively, plays with flat, quick footwork.  Long, clean transfer.  Quick crow hop, throws topped at 81mph.  Athletic, lanky frame that has potential in the batters box.

2/25/17: 6-foot-2, 172 pounds.  Offensively, the LHH hits from an open setup, loads back, short stride, partial rotation with the half.  Maintains balance throughout the swing. Short, uphill swing path, line drive hitter.  Showed some pop during his BP.  Registered a high exit velocity of 82 mph. Defensively, stiff arm action from a high ¾ slot.  Throws topped out at 80 mph.  Fluid footwork, small crow hop, plays through.  Fields the ball off to the side and deep.  Ran a 7.25 60 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash.
