4/4/15 GAME NOTES: 6-foot, uncommitted righty works from the stretch with a high front side.  High 3/4 slot with a fastball at 82-85, touched an 86 and an 87.  Slow curve ball at 64-65.  Changeup was 75.  Fastball was consistently thrown for a strike, off-speed was erratic.  

2/22/14: 6-foot, 185 pound Junior ran a 6.91 60 at the event.  Arm action is short from the OF where he was 83 mph.  From 3B showcased a long arm action and over the top slot and was 75 mph.  Actions are raw and shows stiffness.  Projects more in the OF.  At the plate starts slightly open with a short stride. Drops hands during load. Swing path is uphill.  Registered an exit velo of 85 mph. 

10/19/13: 6-foot, 185 pound junior is raw mechanically at the plate, but did show good bat speed with a lot of quick twitch.  85 mph exit velo.  Gets wide with his swing and needs to clean up his load.  Has the tools to be successful offensively, just needs refined.  Ran a 6.9 60.  From the OF he was 81 mph.  Fields it well with a small crow hop.  Arm action is short. Plenty of arm strength to remain in the OF.

On the mound was up 78 mph with his fastball.  Throws predominately from the stretch with high hands and an inward turn.  Throws from a high ¾ arm slot with average arm speed.  Inconsistent release point.  Showed 4 pitches in the strike zone.  Breaking ball was 11/5 shape with gradual movement at 60-61.  Changeup showed some cut action at 63-65.  Best pitch was his knuckle ball at 69-70 mph with a flutter and dive.
