4/14/18 PBR MIDWEST SELECT: Athletic, strong build at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds.  The Louisville recruit is ranked No. 4 in Indiana’s 2019 class rankings. Returning from Tommy John this season.  Started game two for Providence Friday evening.  Impressed early sitting 89-91 in the first.  Settled in at 86-88, running it up to 89-90 on occasion.  Fastball is fairly straight.  Was able to locate to both sides of the plate for strikes.  Breaking ball needs to continue to develop; shows 11/5 shape with gradual action at 71-76; erratic in the zone.  Pitches from a short, high ¾ arm action with quick arm speed.  Finished with four strikeouts, four walks, five hits in 3.2IP.  

5/3/16 GAME NOTES: The No.1 ranked player in Indiana's class of 2019 rankings went 4 innings, allowing 3H, 2R (1ER), 3BB while striking out two in last night's 6-5 loss vs. 3A No.2 Silver Creek. The 6-foot-2, 180 pounder possesses a projectable, athletic frame. He pitches from a clean, short, high 3/4 arm action and works at a repeatable pace with a head tilt that causes him to fall off a bit.  Slight inward turn.  Fastball sat 85-86 in the first with occasional run.  In the second he was 83-84 and by the fourth settled in at 81-82. The breaking ball is currently slow, sitting at 69 throughout the evening, but it showed good rotation and flashed several with good depth.  High follow. 

9/27/15: During a fall game, Wilkinson sat 82-84, touching 85 with his FB showing arm side run.  Breaking ball was 70-72.  High follow in the 2019 class.
