Deal is a 6-foot-3 right handed pitcher, with long arms and legs. He possesses a loose, quick arm with a fluid motion and clean arm action. Coming off an arm injury, he was able to consistently throw his fastball in the low 80�s, topping out at 82, and showed off his plus breaking ball. Once Deal is back to 100 percent look for his velocity to increase. He shows he has what it takes to be successful at the next level, and is someone to pay close attention to this upcoming spring.
