3/30/18 Spring Scout Blog: Scrappy, 5-foot-11 senior leadoff hitter had competitive at-bats all night, started the game off with a leadoff triple and scored a run. Sets the tone in the leadoff position, works from a slightly open, balanced setup from the left side, hands work quick and short to the baseball, good hand eye with consistent line drive approach to middle of field. Arm strength in the infield, glove works with good instincts to field the baseball. Finished 1-4 at the plate scoring a run, also beat out an infield single that was called out on, ran 4.19 down the line. Ball State commit that has chance to make impact in middle of field at next level.
6/13/17:  5-foot-11, 175 pound infielder had a solid day overall.  Ran a 7.07 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash.  The left-handed hitter has an open setup using quick hands to the baseball producing hard hit line drives; high contact hitter.  Defensively, shows athletic actions with above average glove work, plays through the baseball.  Good feel for the SS position.  Strong arm across the diamond at 87 mph.

4/24/17
Game Notes: The 5"11 middle infielder showcased above average hands and arm strength across the diamond. Feet work well to and through the baseball, playing downhill, getting in good fielding position. Tendency to travel with the baseball after fielding, but made up for it with arm strength across the diamond. Ball had good carry and zip. Showcased good baseball instincts. Hit in the leadoff spot and in an athletic stance, slightly narrow to start, with longer stride onto the front foot. Hands are quick and short to the baseball with a line drive/contact approach at the plate. 4.26 runner down the line.

2/19/17:
5-foot-11, 175 pounds. Offensively the LHH hits from an athletic setup, loads back, long stride, average use of the lower half, maintains balance throughout the swing.  Above average bat speed, level swing path, gets to extension.  Barreled up the baseball during BP producing hard hit line drives.  Registered a high exit velocity of 83 mph.  Defensively, showcased above average glove work with fluid feet and a clean exchange.  Short, high ¾ arm action with carry and accuracy.  Throws topped at 90 mph (an event high). Ran a 7.15 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash.
10/12/14: 5-foot-7, 135 pound talented young player with a huge upside. Strong athletic build, middle infielder that hits in a balanced stance with a short stride and explosive hips, the bats stays on plain through contact, line drive hitter that will hit for power has he develops in the weight room. His pop time was 2:15 to 2:25. From the infield he made throws from a ¾ slot with a short easy arm action, he has average hands and good feet around the bag
