2/17/18:  5-foot-11, 200 pound catcher has present bat speed and physicality in the box.  Strong hands, line drive approach.  Gap to gap power.  Partial use of lower half.  High exit velocity of 84.  Soft hands behind the plate, receives well.  Heavy footwork, quick transfer.  Short arm action into high 3/4 slot.  Throws topped 73mph with pop times ranging between 1.98-2.01.
 
7/3/17: Committed to Northern Kentucky. 5-foot-11, 180-pound, muscular, athletic catcher. Defensively, moves athletically behind the plate, soft hands, recorded a 2.01 pop time in between innings. Offensively, right-handed hitter, squares the ball up with power, hit a two-run opposite field homerun.

2/25/17:  
The 5-foot-11, 185 pound catcher has a wide, slightly open setup with fast bat speed.  Partial usage of backside.  Gap to gap power with some lift at contact.  Produced an exit velocity of 87.  Defensively, quick transfer and a strong arm.  Feet are fluid, long at times.  Pop times ranged between 1.99-2.04.  Ran a 7.81 60yd dash.

6/21/16: 
The 5 foot 10 190 pound catcher showcased a quick, short arm action with good arm strength for his age.  Throws topped at 75mph.  Footwork can get long at times.  Offensively, Mason hits from an athletic setup with above average bat speed.  Bat path is long and level.  Has good pop for his age.  Exit velocity topped at 85.
2/21/16: 5-foot-10, 190 pounds.  Recorded pop times of 2.15, 2.20 and 2.22; 75 from the crouch.  Needs to clean up the transfer.  Lacks elite arm speed.  Gets low in his stance.  Showcased soft hands.  Offensively, hits from a slightly open setup, short stride, closes himself off.  Minimal load.  Average bat speed, short path.  Pull side hitter.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 80 mph. 

2/22/15:
  5-foot-10, 182 pounder showcased good defensive actions for an 8thgrader.  Displayed the ability to handle pitches, with good balance.  Average transfer on his throws to 2B, just needs to quicken everything up.  Tendency to slide towards 3B when throwing to 2B.  Pop times were 2.25-2.26.   From the crouch was 75 mph with accuracy.  At the plate starts balanced and uses a short stride.  Loads back, short, compact swing.  Finishes 1-handed.  Recorded a high exit velo of 77 mph.
