6-foot, 180-pound LHP. On the mound, has a slow wind up; keeps hands high; has a long arm action; hides the ball well. Shows good movement on FB; locates low in the zone; has a live, flexible arm; 79-81 mph FB. Has movement on off-speed pitches; in game, located CB for strikes, kept hitters off balance and struck out hitters; 67-69 mph CB. Showed efficiency in his outing and kept batters guessing the entire time.

2/24/18:  6-foot, 180 pound southpaw sat 80-82 with some late run on the fastball.  Commands the fastball at the knees.  Breaking ball has late depth in a 2/8 shape at 72-75.  Showed sharpness at times.  Change-up is thrown with fastball arm speed and gets some late fade.  Arm action is short, slight stab on the backside.  Some effort, good balance.  Stays in line, lands squared.  Finishes upright.

7/25/17: Home to 1st: 5.01, Position Velocity: INF-77, Exit Velocity: 82

5-foot-11, 175 pound sophomore swings from the right side, using a small toe tap then lift to start swing. Weight gets heavy on the back side with leg lift up, front foot and side land open to contact. Barrel loads to flat plane and stays level throughout with small lift to finish. Feet slide to finish, better balance. Line drive, contact swing middle to pull side. First baseman with some feel around the bag, glove works to field. Short arm action with small stab down to throw. Front side spins glove side after release. Creates angles with feet to get to good fielding position.
