Switch hitter.  Mirrored setup on both sides. Balanced setup, low hand set.  Rhythm is stiff. Showcased more bat speed from the right side and appears more athletic.  High exit velocity of 84 mph.

6/7/16: 6-foot-2, 175 pound OF ran a 7.13-60. Defensively, throws from a long, 3/4 arm action. Arm action is stiff.  Exchange is clean.  Footwork is flat. Throws topped out at 73 from the OF.  Hits from both sides of the plate.  From the right side hits from a balanced setup.  Uses a toe tap.  Loads back. Over rotation with the lower half with average balance.  Bat speed is average with a level path. Produced line drives during his BP session.  From the left side of the plate uses a slight leg kick. Short stride. Smooth load back, but hands tend to drop. Over rotates his lower half. Average balance. Tendency to pull off.  Shows more bat speed from the right side. High exit velocity of 80 mph.

6/9/15:  The 5-foot-11 145 outfielder throws from a ¾ arm slot with a long arm action.  Arm strength is average as he produced a positional velocity of 71.  Michael’s 60 was a 7.75.  Offensively, he hits from a tall, balanced setup.  The switch-hitter mirrors his swing from both sides.  Michael has a tendency to pull off.  He will need to have better timing and front side to be effective from each side of the plate.
