5/30/15: The 5-foot-10, 155 pound Lincoln Trail commit was 81-84 with his fastball.  The fastball had good movement throughout the game, getting run and sink.  Kept hitters off balance with his mid 70's breaking ball.  Changeup had good sink at 77-78.  Witty finished scattering 5 hits with 9 Ks in a complete game win.

4/29/15: The undersized LHP battled with Sommer very well.  He had sneaky velocity which kept hitters late for first few innings.  His FB was 80-83 early on, got up to 83-84 in middle innings.  He touched 85 once.  Breaking ball had 2-8 break and thrown for a strike at 72-74mph.  Change-up was 70-72.  His delivery slows on change-up but the movement and speed differential made it a useful pitch for Myc.  Witty’s delivery is balanced but at times will rush to plate.  When he is in rhythm, he commanded pitches very well.   He finished with 6IP 7K 2ER. Committed to Lincoln Trail.

4/9/15 GAME NOTES: A 5-foot-11, 145 pound senior southpaw was 80-85 with his fastball getting good run.  Arm is quick and loose from a 3/4 slot.  Breaking ball showed late break at 67-70.  Committed to Lincoln Trail.

12/7/14:
5-foot-10, 150 pound southpaw with a slender, athletic build and tons of pitchability.  He pitches from a low 3/4 slot with a quick, loose arm.  He shows easy effort with smooth rhythm within his delivery. Witty has good direction to the plate and lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball sat 81-83 with heavy action and consistently in the zone. Curveball sits 67-68 mph with late break and consistently thrown for a strike.  His changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed and sits 64-65 with some sink.
