4/22/14 Game Notes: A 5-foot-8, 150-pounder, is off to a hot start this spring. Baisa possesses speed both in the field and on the bases. Down the line, he's been as quick as a 3.90 seconds. The left-handed hitter is hitting .619 with an on-base percentage of .714 through seven games this spring. As the leadoff hitter, Baisa has 11 runs and six stolen bases. He possesses fluid actions with the ability to run balls down in the gaps. He has a strong, accurate arm from center field. At the plate, he hits from a wide stance with high hands. His load is smooth with a short stride and consistently hits the ball hard and reaches base.

2/25/12: Roman Basia is a 5-foot-8 135 pound outfielder from North Central HS. Roman featured plus actions in the outfield and a strong arm. Roman was 82 mph and on the bag. He did a nice job of getting down-hill on his throws. Basia ran a 7.2 and hit from both sides of the plate. From the left side, Basia showed an open stance with good contact. On the right side, Basia projected better with good barrel whip and a better setup. With added strength, Basia will improve quickly.
