Steven Walsh: C/1B, (2022) Brownsburg, IN. 6-foot-1, 195-pound solid frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was quick, showed a level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found some barrels with tons of loud contact. Behind the plate, produced pop times of 2.03-2.15, throw downs to second topped out at 77 mph; had Firm hands and a clean exchange. Had narrow setup. Had a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.57 at the event. On the mound, a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Strong balance point. Slider (68-70 mph). Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph with a max of 83 mph; had glove side control and tailing action. He had running action on his changeup (73-74).
