6-foot-1, 165-pound athletic frame; RHP/SS. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Starts in balanced stance, has a wrapping load and uses a short stride. Showed quick bat speed, a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and a level finish. Displayed a line drive approach in his path. In the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 88 mph; showed sure hands, quick footwork and a clean exchange. Uses athletic movements laterally. Had a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. He established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.99. On the mound, he has quick arm speed to the plate with an over-the-top arm angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows high effort in his delivery. He threw his fastball 83-86 mph; with a max of 86 mph; shows hard action on his running fastball. His changeup regularly came in at velocities of 76-77 mph; had some action on his fading changeup. His curveball (71-76 mph) had the most depth when he located it down by the hitter’s knees.
