8/5/15 - Renferew is a 6-foot 173-pound left-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting outfielder with a 7.09 60 and an 85 mph exit velo.  At the plate, starts in open stance, small stride, line drives to the middle of the cage during batting practice, balanced swing, singled to left in game action.  During defensive evaluations, throws left, 75 mph positional velo, catches ball with momentum towards target, high three-quarters release, throws ball on line. On the mound, Controlled an in line as he gets towards plate, releases from three quarters slot, throws with regular effort, fastball at 71-74 mph, works mostly inside to RHH, showed 1-to-7 curveball, 57-59 mph, walked two and struck out two in his inning of work.

6/18/14 - Renfrew is a 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed pitcher.  He showed early balance and body control closing off at balance hiding the ball from the hitter.  He throws form a high three-quarters arm slot with a fastball in the 75-77 mph range with some with sink down and away from right-hand hitters.  He also throws a sweeping breaking ball at 66-68 and a change-up at 69-71.  He entered the game very sharp and struck out the first two batters he faced.

6/18/14 - Renfrew is a 6-foot, 160-pound right-hand hitting outfielder.  During outfield drills he fielded everything cleanly and threw from a three-quarters slot.  He has quick, clean arm action and he throws out-in-front as well as any of the outfield group.   His top throw was clocked at 75 mph.  At the plate he has a tall set-up and slightly open stance.  He uses a toe tap and strides inline.  Renfrew showed balance throughout and a line drive, middle of the field approach.  His exit velocity high was 80 mph.  He ran a 4.50 home-to-1B.

3/29/14 - Alex Renfrew led the team with half of the total hits collecting three singles on the day.  Renfrew is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound athlete he showed an overall simple approach at the plate with a quick, balanced swing from the left side.
