On the mound, Reeves has an athletic build, long limbs and a projectable frame. Delivery is directional towards home plate, controlled leg lift, some effort, gains momentum as he travels down the mound, downhill tilt with shoulders, short arm swing in back, over the top release. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, tops at 82 mph, some arm side run, around the strike zone, changeup is 72-74 mph, curveball proved to be his best pitch at the event, 65-66 mph, late downward action, 12-to-6 shape.
6-foot-4, 180 pound two way player top out at 80 MPH with his fastball from a short mid ¾ arm slot. Fastball gets on a downhill plane, some run to his arm side, pounded the bottom of the strike zone. 1/7 shaped breaking ball with gradual depth, good spin.
