2/5/18 - Vanderbilt recruit. 6-foot-5, 205-pound infielder, highly athletic frame, lean, muscular build with wide shoulders and plenty of room for continued physical development. Overall impressive physical specimen. Built like a tight end, moves like a point guard. Turned in an all-around eye-opening performance at the Super 60, and walked away as one of the biggest workout winners. For his size, moves extremely well; ran a 6.85 laser-timed 60 with long fluid strides. Moves well laterally, showing soft, easy hands in the field. Plenty of arm strength to stick on left side of infield, topped at 92 mph, on target with some effort. Offensively, showed extremely balanced, explosive swing from the right side. Generates easy bat speed with minimal moving parts. Subtle hand load, slight leg lift back, maintains balance and rhythm throughout. Made consistent hard contact, middle line-drive approach, generating some of the top exit velocities of the day during BP: 107, 106, 106 mph. Not much lift in swing, 14.22 average launch angle; 5 of the 11 balls were under 10 degrees. Farthest hit ball was 328 feet. Overall showcased high-level tools across the board.

McMillan looks the part at 6-foot-5, 190 pounds and is gifted athletically. A Vanderbilt recruit, he is a bit raw on the infield, but has shown improvements with his range, hands and throwing accuracy. At the plate, he has a quick bat and power to his pull side.

8/12/16 - Specimen standing at an impressive 6-foot-5, 200 pounds. His game is raw, but it’s easy to dream on his potential when you see the tools on display. He has good bat speed at the plate, though his batting practice was inconsistent as he was out on his front foot. Defensively, he has solid actions and excellent arm strength. During infield/outfield drills, he was seemingly throwing through the first baseman. Playing shortstop Friday, he showed his rawness on a series of plays. Early in the game, he rushed a little and made a wild throw, but then looked smooth and easy on a double play turn. Later, he ranged to his right, made a backhand pick in the hole and showed plus arm strength to get the out at first. Soon after, on a similar play, he overthrew the first baseman.
