8/5/15 - Leynden is a 5-foot-11 150-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher.  Leynden runs a 7.22 60 with a 78 mph exit velo. At the plate, athletic set-up, stride foot and hand separate to load, loose hands, level path to extension, doubled to right field in game action.  In the outfield, athletic footwork, works behind ball, plays through catch, quick release, high three-quarters, mostly accurate throws, 79 mph positional velo. 8/17/14 - Leyden is a wiry, athletic 5-foot-9, 140-pound left-handed pitcher.  Simple and under control early.  Quick knee tuck at balance, strides inline, three-quarters arm action, loose arm, falls off some to third base side.  Fastball with early arm side run, occasional cut, 75-76 mph.  Slurve type breaking ball, 62-63 mph.  Fastball arm speed on change-up, arm side fade, 69-70 mph.

8/17/14 - Leyden is a wiry, athletic 5-foot-9, 140-pound left-hand hitting outfielder.  Balanced set-up at the plate, slightly closed stance, strides slightly closed, smooth hand load, easy swing, gets barrel out front, bat path is short to long, extension through the baseball, maintains balance throughout, 78 mph exit velocity.  Middle of the field approach.  7.31 60-yard dash time.  In the outfield showed soft hands, athletic footwork, clean exchanges, loose three-quarters arm action, arm works, 81 mph outfield throwing velocity.
