2/12/17 - Burrell is a 5-foot-6 160-pound left-handed outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.05 laser timed 60 and a 4.25 home to first.  He has a 79 mph exit velo. At the plate, starts slightly open with rhythm in hands, short in line stride, compact swing, no wasted movement, quick and level path, loose hands with feel for the barrel, gap-to-gap approach, repeats.  In the outfield, 77 mph positional velo, takes direct route to ball, small crow hop, clean transfer, over the top release, plays through the catch, accurate throws.

11/1/15 - Burrell is a 5-foot-5 142-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class.  Burrell ran one of the event best 60’s at 7.02-seconds, and had a home-to-first time of 4.35-seconds from the left side.  At the plate, hands work inside the ball, minimal load, level path through contact, line drives to middle/opposite gap during batting practice.  In the outfield, 70 mph positional velo, moves with ease to the ball, momentum towards target to throw, over-the-top release, quick catch and release, throws were near the bag at third base.
