Mervosh

Mervosh is a 5-foot-9, 155-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Kansas’ 2022 class. Mervosh shows the potential for a stronger build as he develops, wide shoulders, athletic actions and the plate and defensively. He runs a 7.22 second 60 and 4.51 home-to-first. At the plate, Mervosh posted an exit velocity of 84 mph, simple load, repeatable swing, ability to control the barrel, hard line drive and fly ball contact to the middle of the field during batting practice. Defensively on the infield, smooth actions, rushed at times, soft hands, fluid footwork with momentum towards first base, clean arm action, three-quarter release, positional velocity of 76 mph across the infield.

During batting practice, Mervosh shows rhythm into his load, strides slightly closed off, remains balanced throughout and finishes high with his hands. Defensively, Mervosh moves well with good footwork, momentum towards first base, ¾ arm slot, clean arm action, positional velo of 68 mph and very accurate throws.
