Miller has an athletic build at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds and is a right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 6.80 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. During hitting evaluations, Miller starts in a relaxed and upright stance, reverse toe-tap into his load, loose hands, easy swing, works to get arms extended, showed middle approach during round. Defensively, attacks the baseball, fluid footwork, clean transfers, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 80 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Miller’s delivery is smooth with some rhythm, athletic, repeats, direction towards target, loose arm action, high three-quarter release. Fastball is 73-77 mph, slight arm side run, thrown for strikes, curveball has a chance to be a plus pitch, 66-68 mph, thrown for strikes, late bite, 11-to-5 shape. Miller’s easy arm action, quick foot speed and athleticism make him a prospect to keep an eye on as he develops.

6/5/18 - Miller is a 5-foot-11 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 7.01 60 and a 4.41 home to first.  He has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in a thin base, slightly closed, top tap, pre-pitch rhythm in hands, consistent contact to the middle of the field.  In the outfield, 76 mph positional velocity, high three quarters arm slot, works behind the ball, works through the catch, fluid footwork on time with transfer, stays under control, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, keeps hands high throughout delivery, drop and drive, in line and level direction towards plate, fastball at 73-75 mph, breaking ball with 11-to-5 shape, 60-63 mph, some depth with late action.

2/24/18 - Miller is a 5-foot-11 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 4.12 home to first and has a 78 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall set up, toe tap to short stride, quiet hands with high finish, middle of the field contact during hitting evaluations.  In the outfield, loose high three quarters arms lot, maintains momentum through the catch, smooth and controlled actions, clean exchanges, athletic build, 77 mph positional velocity. On the mound, Miller works his fastball at 74-76 mph, some arm side release, curveball at 61-64 mph, 11-to-5 spin, change up at 69-70 mph, some sinking action, comes from a high three quarters arm slot, holds hand high during delivery, lands square to home plate, controlled and smooth tempo.
