At the plate, no wasted movement, repeats swing, balanced stand, short stride, quick hands with a slight natural live to swing plane, hard solid contact to middle and pull side during hitting evals.  On the infield, 77 mph positional velocity, quick transfer, fields the ball in athletic position, fluid footwork, high three quarters arm slot. On the mound, Baker has an over the top arm slot, in line stride, controlled body with repeatable delivery, throws with regular effort, fastball at 78-81 mph, works both sides of the plate, curveball at 65-68 mph, 2-to-8 shape, late break, change up at 72-74 mph, slight arm side sink, showed feel and command for all pitchers for mid-winter workout.
