During hitting evaluations, Darrenkamp starts in an open stance, toe tap load, loose hands, showed contact to the middle and pull side of the field. Defensively, has a ¾ arm slot, clean transfers, positional velo of 68 mph, fairly accurate throws. On the mound, Darrenkamp repeats his delivery, good direction, body control, bigger leg kick, ¾ slot, fastball was thrown for a high percentage of strikes at 66-70 mph, curveball has 2-to-8 shape with gradual bite, 54-61 mph, changeup is 59-61 mph.
