3/25/14 - From the first inning, even the first pitch, Blue Valley Northwest’s Ross Perez, a large framed 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher peppered the strike zone with a mostly 81-82 mph fastball with good arm side run. Perez used nine pitches to get North’s first three batters in order with two strike outs and continued working into the seventh inning using only 75 pitches.
