Body: 6-foot-1, 180-pounds. Athletic frame. Ability to add strength
Delivery: Feet start near middle of rubber, slight side step initiates a quick tall/fall type delivery, strong front side, works on line with target, athletic finish on release, works with tempo.
Arm Action: Right-handed. Long, clean arm action, high-3/4 slot; quick arm.
FB: T84, 82-83 mph. Jumps in the zone, four-seam type, comfortable pounding glove-side corner, strikes.
CB: 70-72 mph. Tight 11/5 shape, works on a vertical plane, late break.
CH: 71-75 mph. Flashed arm-side run, thrown with full arm speed.
Leachner is a 6-foot-1 165-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting third baseman in Kansas' 2021 class. Leachner has a simple delivery with fluid and smooth movements, controlled leg lift, in line stride, gains momentum down the mound, repeats with regular effort, clean arm action, high three-quarter release.
