6-foot-3, 175 pound left-handed hitting SS. Very intriguing offensively with plenty of room to fill out lean frame. Shows loose hands with good bat speed and a barrel that stays in the zone producing consistent hard contact. Works from gap to gap with flashes of power. More power to come as he fills out his 6-foot-3 frame. Plus offensive potential at the next level. Posted a 91 mph exit velocity off the tee. Did not run the 60 due to a hamstring issue in chilly conditions.
As a defender, arm strength immediately stands out. 87 mph across the infield. Moves with good actions. Soft hands. Very good body control with ability to throw on the move.
The combination of Anderson's intriguing left-handed bat and defensive ability make him a 2021 prospect that should garner a lot of interest moving forward.
