Started in an athletic tall stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, displays a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 76 mph; has consistent feet, a natural transfer, and soft hands. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.86-1.94. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action.
