8/17/14 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound RHP, good pitcher’s frame with projection, uses shorter arm action through high ¾ arm slot, regular effort in delivery, fastball sat 81-84 mph, mostly straight, 69-73 mph curveball is thrown with good arm speed, tended to miss down with the curveball, allowed three hits, walked one, and struck out two in his two innings of work, has potential for more velocity with more consistent use of lower half (doesn’t finish and recoils at times), interesting mound prospect.
