10/2/16 - Max FB: 83, FB: 79-82, CB: 65-67, CH: 78,
6-foot-0, 175-pound, LHP showed very much the same as we have seen him in almost all previous events, very consistent, low effort pitcher with a long arm action that stays loose throughout his delivery, high ¾ arm slot and a slightly closed stride toward the plate, finishes under control.  Fastball showed some run and was located well, curveball had 1/7 shape with some good depth, and his changeup showed slight run through the zone.  Recorded 3 strikeouts and allowed 3 singles in his 2 innings of work. Committed to Wabash Valley JC after the event.
6/15/16 - Max FB: 83, FB: 80-83, CB: 62-65
6-foot, 175-pound LHP uses long and clean arm action with minimal effort and works through a high-3/4 slot, shows good pitchability with a fastball/curveball mix, has shown similar velocity at each event, two-seam fastball shows good arm-side run, has excellent feel for the curveball with 1/7 action and good depth, allowed two hits and struck out two (one FB, one CB) in his two innings of work. Shoemake’s ability to pitch will make him a valuable LHP on a staff at the next level.
6/17/15 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound LHP uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot, commands all pitches well and hits spots effectively, minimal effort in delivery, fastball sat 79-80 mph topping at 81, two-seam fastball shows some arm-side run, has excellent feel for 67-68 mph curveball with 1/7 action and some depth, allowed no hits, no walks, and struck out four (3 on FB’s and one on CB) in his two innings of work, have seen Shoemake up to 84, and his pitchability makes him one of the top lefties in Kentucky’s 2017 class.
10/4/14 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 arm slot, pounds the strike zone with fastball/curveball mix, delivery stays online with minimal effort, fastball worked in the 79-83 mph range topping at 84, two-seam fastball shows some arm-side life, shows good feel for 67-70 mph curveball with 1/7 action, commands both sides of the plate, did not see a changeup in his outing but the development of one would only make him even more effective, allowed an infield hit, walked one, and struck out five in his two innings of work, high-level 2017 prospect with good upside.
