6/16/15 - 5-foot-11, 160-pounds, showed improved measurables across the board, left-handed hitter hits from an open stance, squares front side with a short stride, line drive type hitter, uses all fields, 85 mph exit velocity, ran 4.39 down the line, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single up the middle. Extremely soft, quick hands defensively, plus actions and body control with ability to throw from multiple arm slots, quick first step and good angles to the baseball, 80 mph velocity across infield.
2/14/15 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect has added 10 pounds to frame since summer, left-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, short stride, fluid swing that produces line drives, good balance, gap to gap approach, hit several hard line drives in his round, ran 7.40 60-yard dash. Defensively, showed a big jump in arm strength to 83 mph across the infield (78 previous best), continues to show very athletic actions with soft hands, good footwork and angles allow him to play faster than straight line speed indicates, high-level defender who continues to improve arm strength and offensive ability.
6/18/14 - 5-foot-10, 145-pound prospect with lanky build, showed some of the best defensive actions of the event with soft hands, good range, and fluid footwork.  Childress made the best defensive play of the event in game action, ranging far up the middle to field a ground ball and spinning in one motion to throw a strike to first base to record the out, has a quick exchange and able to throw accurately from different angles, 76 mph velocity across the infield (78 at previous event).  At the plate, the left-handed hitter starts in a balanced setup with a short stride, shows good balance, line drive type hitter shows the ability to use all fields, ran 4.59 down the first base line, went 1-for-5 in game play but showed the ability to barrel up the baseball, with added strength to his frame has the potential to be a high-level prospect.
2/16/14 - 5-foot-10, 142-pound prospect with lanky build, displays athletic infield actions with soft hands, good body control, athletic arm at 75 mph across the infield (78 at previous event).  At the plate, the left-handed hitter hits from an open stance with a toe tap trigger, displays excellent balance, swing is loose with quick hands, good use of lower half, line drive type hitter with middle of the field approach, potential to develop some gap-to-gap power with added strength, ran 7.58 60 yard dash, will need to continue to improve speed, 82 mph exit velocity (84 at previous event), definite follow in 2016 class.
1/19/14 - 5-foot-10, 142-pound prospect with lanky build, footwork is good with good lateral movement, hands are soft, plays through the baseball well, arm action is short and athletic, good body control, accurate arm at 78 mph across the infield.  At the plate, hits from an open stance with a toe tap trigger, line drive type hitter, swing is loose and shows good hand quickness, registered 84 mph tee exit velocity, ran 4.34 down the first base line, potential high-level prospect in 2016 class.
