2/13/16 - 60 Time: 6.43, Position Velocity:  OF-94, Exit Velocity: 99
6-foot-3, 190-pound RHH has extremely impressive tools and freakish athleticism as evidenced by his measurables. Hits from a balanced stance, loads back with front leg, extremely quick hands with advanced bat speed, has tremendous raw power. Uses a two-handed approach to the ball on the ground, has center field speed, big time arm strength from a long high-3/4 release with plus life and carry. From a tools standpoint, Schneider is impressive to say the least. There is still some element of rawness in the swing, but there is no denying the impressive tools.
6/16/15 - 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, athletic frame, right-handed hitter shows big power potential, balanced stance, short stride, plus bat speed, 98 mph exit velocity, good speed with 4.24 home to first time, went 1-for-3 in game play with a single. Made one throw from OF in pre-game workout that was 89 mph (had some elbow soreness).
3/17/15 - Schneider had trouble with command and was pulled from the game after walking three and hitting one without recording an out. His fastball sat 83-86 mph. HIs arm is electric, and he has big potential, but struggles to throw strikes consistently.
10/4/14 - 6-foot-3, 186-pound prospect with strong/athletic frame that projects, uses medium to long arm action through a high-3/4 arm slot, deliberate delivery, very quick arm, throws across body at times, fastball sat 87-89 mph in his first inning of work, 68-72 mph curveball showed tight spin and 12/6 action, developed a blister and struggled with command in second inning with velocity dropping to 81-84, allowed two hits, struck out two and walked four in his outing, extremely high ceiling, with continued refinement could be a very highly-coveted arm in the 2017 class.  As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, uses a leg kick with a short stride, explodes with lower half, foot down late at times with some timing issues early in BP round, was on time and squared it up in back half of round, ball jumps off bat when he squares it up, flashes power potential to the pull-side, 4.28 home to first time was the best at the event, 89 mph exit velocity was also the best at the event, went 0-for-3 in game play.  Defensively, shows good lateral movement, hands need continued improvement, big arm across the infield at 91 mph, inconsistent accuracy on throws to first base, speed and arm strength may project best in the outfield at the next level, big time raw tools, very high ceiling with continued development.
1/19/14 - 6-foot-2, 183-pound prospect with athletic build, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, deliberate delivery, quick arm, fastball sat 85-87 mph, curveball showed 12/6 action at 67-70 mph and he showed much better command of it out of the stretch, changeup sat 77-79 mph thrown with good arm action with some cutting action, will be a very good pitch when he stays behind it more consistently.  Schneider, like a lot of young pitchers, will need to continue to progress in repeating his delivery, but there is no doubt at this point and time he has the most arm strength of any freshman in the state and will be a high level prospect on the mound.  As a position player, defensively needs to continue working on hands, shows athletic feet, advanced arm strength at 85 mph across the infield and 88 mph from the outfield.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with a leg kick trigger, explodes with lower half, generates barrel whip through the zone, takes an aggressive swing but maintains balance, uphill path with good extension after contact, creates lift and backspin carry, shows pull-side power, potential high-level two-way prospect in 2017 class, registered 87 mph tee exit velocity, showed speed with 4.38 time down the first base line.
6/26/13 - 6-foot-2, 163-pound, young prospect with big potential, shows good lateral movement, has room for improved footwork and hands, good body control, strong/accurate arm at 83 mph across the infield.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick trigger, good use of lower half creates good bat speed through the zone, shows pull power, good rhythm in swing, impressive round of BP squaring up the ball consistently, ran 6.95 60 yard dash, 84 mph tee exit velocity, high-level 2017 prospect. On the mound, big projectability, shows good rhythm in delivery, arm works, long arm action through high ¾ arm slot, has some work to do on repeating mechanics, tends to throw across body on curveball with side to side movement leading to inconsistent release point, fastball sat 82-83 mph with good arm side run on 2-seamer, lacked command of curveball at 64-67 mph with sharp 11/5 action when thrown for strikes, also throws slider at 68-70 mph, changeup is straight at 76-77 mph thrown with good arm action.  Big time potential for Schneider as he is certainly one of the top arms at this point in the 2017 class and will add more velocity in the future.
