Body Type: 5-foot-11, 175-pound thin and athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance that could clean up lower half a little.
Hit: Level bat path that produces line drives. Feel hitter with strength in there for sure.
Power: Ball jumps off his bat. More pop to come as he develops. Present gap abilities.

Field: Smooth transfer with efficient feet. Plays with smooth actions and above average abilities across the board.
Throw: Above average arm with short arm action.

2/9/18 - Lauersdorf continues to establish himself as one of the top catchers in the 2021 class. 5-foot-11, 175 pound frame with well-proportioned strength. Stays quiet in the box and looks to drive the baseball. Consistent hard contact with gap power. Ball jumps off the barrel. Moves well behind the dish. High-level catch and throw skills with efficient release. Good arm strength at 75 from the crouch. Recorded 1.91-1.95 workout pop times with very accurate throws. Good receiver and blocker. Ran 7.68 60 yard dash. 86 mph exit velo off the tee.

Well above average abilities behind the dish for class. Moves well back there with impressive exchange skills. Arm action is unique but he threw with accuracy and above average strength to second base. Limited viewing on blocking but receiving abilities looked to be on parr for class. Also had a solid showing at the plate. A physical bat from the right side. Lower half is efficient, creating regular energy into contact. Loose hands allow for easy whip and early bat speed through the zone. Generates regular gap pop with more to come as he continues to mature physically. Solid young player to follow.
