2/18/13 - 6-foot, 180-pound prospect with athletic build, shows soft hands in infield, feet can be more fluid at times, good arm strength across the field at 82 mph, also showed 83 mph arm strength from outfield.  At the plate, he has a balanced setup, starts with bat on the shoulder and gets it off his shoulder on his load, takes a small stride with a nice rhythm, shows quick hands and good extension through the ball, good use of lower half in swing and weight transfer to a stiff front side, shows some power in swing with an 89 mph tee exit velocity, ran 7.22 60 yard dash.  On the mound, He throws from the stretch only through a high ¾ to over the top arm slot and showed a fairly straight fastball at 82-83 mph, though we have previously seen him up to 85 mph.  He shows feel for a 12/6 curveball that sat 68-70 mph.  Slider has similar action to curveball thrown a little harder at 71-72 mph.  His changeup was thrown with good arm speed and showed some sink at 72-75 mph.  Shows potential as two-way player, solid 2013 prospect.

12/1/12 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect with two-way abilities. On the mound, throws from the stretch with moderate arm speed through upper 3/4 slot. Fastball showed some late life, ranging 83-85 mph. Cut/slider had some late bite (73-75 mph) while showing a feel for downward spin curve (70-71 mph). Change was straight at 77-78 mph. Good raw skills. Ran 7.07 60-yard dash with 86 mph arm strength from outfield with carry. Good range and hands from infield (78 mph arm). Attacks ball well from wide based open stance. Has flat bat plane path with some upper cut. One hand finish. Shows good lower body torque.
