Ethan Brister: OF/RHP, (2020) Assumption, LA. 6-foot-1, 170-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 89 mph. Had a quick load and used a small leg kick. Displays an uphill swing plane and high finish. Line drive approach. From the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 87 mph; has quick footwork and a clean exchange. Used an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.23. 

1/13/19 Lean 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame with athletic build and room to add strength. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with solid arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm with level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square, while finishing to the first base side. Showed strike throwing ability with the fastball, pitching 75-80 mph, with slight run to the arm side. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with quality depth and spin, while also showing ability to manipulate the pitch for a strike at 67-70 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and slight fade action with depth at 68-71 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from athletic, balanced setup, leg lift load, short stride and solid balance. Fluid rhythm with level path, quality bat speed and strength at contact that produced an exit velocity of 83 mph. Athletic defender with average hands, fluid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy, and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 81 mph. Also posted a laser-timed 7.26 60-yard dash.

7/25/17 Long 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame. Right-handed pitcher throwing from a high-3/4 release and solid balance. Long arm action with some stiffness and regular effort in delivery. Some rhythm, slight uphill shoulders, with in-line direction landing square, while finishing falling off. Fastball was thrown for a strike and sat 70-73 mph, with slight arm side action. Slider was thrown with a slower arm speed, straight action and for a strike at 68-69 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from tall balanced setup, leg lift load, short stride and solid balance. Early rhythm with level path, produced exit velocity of 79 mph. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 77 mph. Also posted a 7.41 60 yard dash.

Some rhythm, slight uphill shoulders, with in-line direction landing square, while finishing falling off. Fastball was thrown for a strike and sat 70-72 mph, touching 73 mph with slight arm side action.. Change up was thrown with a slower arm speed, straight action and for a strike at 64-65 mph.
