Long, lean 6-foot-3, 195 pound projectable frame. Right-handed pitcher works from an athletic, explosive delivery with a short, compact arm action into a high-¾ release falling off slightly to the first base side. Fastball sat in the 83-85 mph after going through a full position player workout. We’ve seen the fastball flash better velo at times in the past but was definitely impressive at the Top Prospect Games. Fastball has finish at the plate and was commanded to both sides of the dish. Showed a solid breaking ball with 11/5 shape and average spin at 73-75 mph. Also, flashed feel for a cutter at 75-77 mph with late hard action.

Projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame. Right-handed pitcher works from an athletic, explosive delivery with a short, compact arm action into a high-¾ release. Worked 84-86 mph with quality finish and solid fastball command. Flashed a solid breaking ball with 11/5 shape and average spin at 70-73 mph. Also showed promising feel for a developing changeup at 73-75 mph with quality arm side fade and fastball arm speed.

Hunter Ponson: 3B/RHP, (2021) Parkview Baptist, LA. 6-foot-2, 174-pound projectable frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a big load, then uses a short stride to initiate his swing. Had a short swing plane and high finish. In the infield, showed ability to throw up to 84 mph across the field; has soft hands, a clean exchange and smooth footwork. He clocked a 60 time of 7.4 at the event. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed with an over-the-top angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Has a tall balance point with even shoulders. His fastball was 79-80 mph with a max of 80 mph; has in the zone command and running action. Showed a 12/6 curveball (69-70) with swing and miss action. He shows sinking action on his changeup(70-72).

Long, rangy 6-foot-2, 175 pound frame, projectable, plenty of room to add strength on lean strong build. Prototypical corner infield body, long strider that moves well and covers ground side to side. Left-handed hitter that hits from a taller, balanced setup, athletic and confident in the box. Starts slightly open, uses a minimal leg lift to close off creating solid rhythm during a simple, shifty load, gets connected and creates leverage in the swing, flashes quality bat speed with strength at contact, posted an exit velocity of 89 mph. Stood out at 3B during the defensive workout before game 2. Moved really well with simple, efficient footwork, clean exchanges and accurate throws. Longer, clean arm action into high-3/4 release with arm strength and easy carry on throws across, posted a positional velocity of 86 mph. Solid athlete, posted a laser-timed 7.22 60-yard dash.

Long, rangy 6-foot-2, 175 pound frame. Athletic, on-line delivery with shorter, compact arm action into a high ¾ slot with moderate effort. Works downhill, creates good tilt, pounds the bottom of the zone with late finish at 82-85 mph. Breaking ball is inconsistent but shows flashes of being a solid pitch with 11/5 shape and solid depth at 72-74 mph. Flashed solid feel for a change up in warm-ups, maintained arm speed with slight late fade at 73-74 mph.
