Arm (OF): Long arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. OF velocity of 78 mph.
Defense(OF): Good first step. Showed good tempo and rhythm, catching the ball cleanly out front. Throws were accurate to home plate with backspin and carry.
Run: Posted a 7.28 in the 60.
Physical 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame with an athletic, powerful build. Left-handed hitter hits from an athletic setup with a wide, balanced base. Utilizes a moderate leg kick with knee-to-knee direction landing firmly in a quality hitting position. Fires off a loose, athletic pass with looseness, slightly uphill trajectory and impressive bat speed, posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. Solid defender in the outfield. Attacks the baseball working through hops with clean exchanges into a high-¾ left-handed release posting a positional velocity of 71 mph. Solid athlete, ran a 7.18 second 60-yard dash.
Nolan Norris: West Monroe High School, Class of 2023; 5-foot-10, 158-pound lean frame; 1B/OF. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 79 mph. Begins in wide stance with a small load, then uses a leg kick just before his swing. Displays a flat swing plane and has a high finish. While in the infield, made throws across the field up to 66 mph; showed quick footwork and sure hands. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 69 mph. Used a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. He clocked a time of 7.28 in the 60-yard dash.
