The 5-foot-10, 175 pound right-handed hitting catcher had a tee exit velocity of 84 mph.  The set up is open and balanced.  The hands are relaxed set near the back shoulder.  The load is a glide to the backside and a push back of the hands.  The front foot gets down square and the weight stays mostly on the back leg.  This causes some lift in the swing plane.  He does get good extension through contact. He also ran a 5.0 second home to first base at this event.Behind the plate, the set up is square with the glove relaxed in the center of the body.  As he begins the transitions to throw to second base, the feet are light and quick. The hips and shoulders stay over the feet, creating a good position to throw.  The arm swing is clean and extends well through the target. The pop-time was 2.0-2.0 seconds and he was 74 mph. During the game action, he showed the ability to handle pitchers, move laterally and received well.

5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 8.17 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 75 mph from behind the dish as the arm has strength to it. Pop time of 1.98 The feet need to be smoothed out during the transfer down to second base, but the skill set to catch and throw are present at an early age. The glove needs to continue to soften, and improve on securing the catch. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The front foot closes down as the ball approaches. The path is long to the ball, and he uses a 1-handed finish after contact. The front side of the body needs to stay on the swing longer. Good looking 2021 prospect, trending up in development.
