Brandon Cordero: RHP/3B, (2022) Saint Johns, MA. 6-foot-2, 210-pound proportional projectable frame. Projectable during batting practice, Cordero clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (20.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a wrapping load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was raw developing, displays an uphill loose swing plane and a back foot finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Projectable while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; showed soft developing hands, a clean developing exchange, and developing consistent feet. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. From a high ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.53. Projectable on the mound, showed above average arm speed, he had a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Feel up-tempo type pitcher and showed some effort. Has in line shoulder and consistent balance point. Lands closed with recoil finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph; shows control arm side around the zone and slight running action. (Max spin 2014; Avg 1790). Shows glove side around the zone control and sweeping action on his curveball (68-70). (Max spin 1811; Avg 1811). His changeup (73-74) shows arm side control and gradual fading action. Showed slurvey action and glove side around the zone control on his slider (73-74). (Max spin 1999; Avg 1911).

Brandon Cordero: 3B/RHP, (2022) out of Saint Johns, MA. is a 6-foot-3, 229-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, Cordero had an impressive exit velocity of 97 MPH. His initial set up is out of a wide, balanced stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. Cordero showed real bat speed and the ability to drive the ball to the pull side. The swing path is slightly uphill and remains on plane well through contact. Defensively, Cordero was 74 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls, he showed smooth feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 8.1. On the mound, Cordero uses simple movements to get balanced at the top. He separates well and creates a good line with home plate. He uses a long, high ¾ arm slot that produces a fastball that sits 76-79 MPH with late arm-side run. He also mixed in a sweeping slider (64-66 MPH).
