7.18.18

6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed pitcher. This young man is a sleeper, the spin is above average and the velocity is coming.  The fastball sat at 83-84 mph, heavy with sink at times. The spin pitch is excellent in shape and depth, sat at 74 mph. It is an out pitch. The changeup is still a work in progress. The delivery is online with his feet, above ¾ in slot. The tempo is good and the lift is athletic and repeated. The arm swing is short on the back side. The tracking of the front shoulder can improve, as he comes off the catcher before getting to foot strike. The pitchability is good, and he is aggressive with his pitches.

2017 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-2, 210-pound right-handed arm out of Mass. The slot is above 3/4 and works freely. Gets long with the arm swing on the backside and does have effort in the delivery. The feet are online and tracking his front shoulder to foot strike needs to continue to get better. The lift is athletic, small coil and a go. The frame is big, durable and thick. Should be able to eat innings. The fastball sat 81-84 mph, good action and run to it. The spin pitch is slurvy and good at times, sits 74-76 mph. More fastball hand speed to this pitch and he is in business. The changeup is a work in progress. Solid prospect on the mound.

7/18/17
6-foot-2, 210-pound, strong, physical, thick frame. The back and shoulders are thick and wide, lower half is durable and strong. A right-handed pitcher, has a simple athletic leg raise, repeats his delivery, front side could stay inline a tick longer. The delivery has good tempo and builds momentum to the release of baseball. The arm action is longer on the backside, arm works out of ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 80-83 mph, it's heavy and has bore action to it. Showed the ability to locate it to the glove side, has good downward action to fastball. The breaking ball is a legit out pitch, clocked at 72-75 mph, with the ability to really spin the baseball, look for the velocity to climb, the arm is powerful. The lower half is used well, backside explodes, helping with velocity and finishing off the pitch. Times to the plate are quick at 1.15. Big time arm, serious follow, attended the Future Games.

3/5/2017

6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting first baseman. Positionally, threw 80 mph across the diamond, showing a solid glove. The feet work nicely around the bag. Ran a 3.76 thirty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 88 mph. The swing set up is wide with the feet and open with the front foot. The body gets to the front foot too early as he leaks to the ball. The swing is flat to the ball and through it. There is a minimal hand load to the swing. Showed very well on the bump, fastball touched 83 mph with good life to it. The breaking ball has the right shape, sitting at 67 mph. Also displayed a slider at 73 mph, which has a chance to be an out pitch. The changeup needs a spin fix, sat at 76 mph. The delivery is clean and the arm works freely. Pitches out of a plus ¾ slot. The front side needs better direction to foot strike as he pulls the glove and front shoulder off target, prior to foot strike.  Good looking arm to follow.

Tee Exit Velo- 88 mph
INF Velo- 80 mph
