CJ Chagnon: OF/RHP, (2026) Grafton, MA. 5-foot-10, 140-pound slim build. Capable at the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. Starts in a closed narrow stance with a low load, then uses a small stride. Has developing bat speed, long uphill swing plane and high finish. In the round he found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 79 mph; showed a clean exchange, developing hands, and developing feet. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag and a high ¾ slot. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action while showing developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 76-77 mph; had running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2074; Avg 2017). His curveball (65-66) had glove side around the zone control and sweeping action. (Max spin 2156; Avg 2049). His cutter (67-68) shows glove side command and slurvey action.
CJ Chagnon: OF/RHP, (2026) Grafton, MA. 5-foot-8, 125-pound slim frame. Raw and projectable during batting practice, Chagnon had an exit velocity of 79 mph. (62.0 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced open stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, had a loose swing plane and level finish. He found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 75 mph; has developing soft hands, developing consistent feet, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 67-68 mph; showed running action and arm side control. (Max spin 1967; Avg 1895). His curveball (55-57) shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone control. (Max spin 1889; Avg 1753). His straight changeup (62-63) showed arm side command.
