CJ Chagnon: OF/RHP, (2026) Grafton, MA. 5-foot-8, 125-pound slim frame. Raw and projectable during batting practice, Chagnon had an exit velocity of 79 mph. (62.0 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced open stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, had a loose swing plane and level finish. He found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 75 mph; has developing soft hands, developing consistent feet, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders.
