Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball

Caden Lindskog: SS/RHP, (2025) Taunton, MA. 6-foot, 145-pound athletic strong frame. Projectable solid in the box, Lindskog recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with an active load, then used a short toe tap stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a flat swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap opposite field approach. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 75 mph; had fluid footwork, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a short quick arm action. Above average on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has a strong balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-76 mph; showed arm side command and sinking action. Shows glove side control and slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (64-65). His changeup (69-70) shows fading swing and miss action and arm side command.

1/31/21
5-foot-8, 115-pound, young, thin athletic frame, with room for added strength gains over time. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, at the plate, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are relaxed and loose at shoulder height. The lower have is under control, gains ground with stride foot. The swing is level through the zone, small cast of hands, could shorten with more length on the finish. Easy fix with reps, hands work with minimal effort. The approach was more middle of the field with line drives, had an exit velocity of 71 mph and ran a 4.53. Defensively, shows good actions, moves to both sides, hands are soft, fields out front. The arm action is clean from a natural slot, clocked at 63 mph. Body tends to leak to left, trying to get more out of arm, stay straight, arm velocity will catch up over time. Showed advance feel around the bag on starts and turns.
