Damian Young: 3B/RHP, (2024) Taunton, MA. 5-foot-2, 145-pound slim lean frame. Raw and capable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 72 mph. (52.1 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in an open balanced stance with a small load, then uses a small closed stride. Had developing bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and level finish. Found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 71 mph; showed developing consistent feet, soft developing hands, and a developing clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.59. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays falling off shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 65-67 mph; shows slight running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1922; Avg 1816). His changeup (65-66) had fading action and arm side control.

Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed consistent balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 62-63 mph; showed consistent command and slight running action. Has gradual action and consistent command on his changeup (57-58).
