Dominic Gabardi: OF/RHP, (2023) Austin Prep, MA. 6-foot-2, 195-pound lean athletic frame. Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 98 mph, Ranks #2 with EV at the event. (69.86 mph bat speed average). (24.78 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had above average bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 87 mph; showed athletic consistent feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a loose very quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.1. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a long loose arm action while showing consistent developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows decent effort. Showed athletic balance point and in line shoulders. Lands closed with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 82-83 mph; has a heavy fastball that shows arm side control and running action. (Max spin 1770; Avg 1700). Had glove side command and sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (65-66). (Max spin 2172; Avg 2045).

Body: 6-foot-2, 195-pound lean athletic frame.

Hit: (RHH) Above average. Began in an athletic wide stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 98 mph exit velocity, average 84.49 mph. 69.86 mph bat speed average. 24.78 mph hand speed average. Ranks #2 with ev at the event. 

Defense:  (OF) Sure hands, athletic consistent footwork, clean exchange. Above average.  Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. 

Arm: 87 mph outfield velocity. Loose very quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.10 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Projectable. up-tempo delivery, decent effort. high ¾ arm angle, consistent developing arm speed, long loose arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, a clean finish.

FB: T83. 82-83 mph. (Max spin 1770;  Avg 1700). Arm side accuracy, running action, heavy movement. 

CB: 65-66 mph. Glove side command, sweeping action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2172; Avg 2045).

6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder. His game is trending up and you can tell he is putting in the work. The approach in the outfield is aggressive and online. The arm is clean, throwing 85 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot open to start. The front foot closes down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is long and strong to contact. The hands work freely and he shows strength. On the mound, the fastball sat 81-83 mph with arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch was solid in shape, sitting 71-73 mph. The changeup was 67-69 mph and solid in shape. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is solid in tempo and repeated. He is athletic and the arm really works.

6-foot-2, 185-pound, long and lean athletic frame, showing plenty of room for future weight gains. A right-handed hitting two-way player, at the plate, feet are even loose relaxed hands, simple pick up and put down with stride foot. The swing is short to contact, level through the zone and finishing higher with two hands above the shoulders. The approach is more middle to pull side, creating lift to the baseball, had an exit velocity of 87 mph. An average runner, ran a 7.40 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, showed a big prostyle arm from outfield at 87 mph, the arm action is long and loose, whippy from a 3/4 slot. The footwork is clean, stepping through and gaining ground. Off the mound, a simple delivery, working from set position, easy athletic lift. Landing slightly across the body, has some cross fire on release, arm action is super loose. The fastball reached 82 mph, with arm side run. The breaking ball was up to 69 mph, slurvy break to it. A legit two-way player, time will tell which way he goes.

6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and pitcher. The approach in the outfield is athletic and online. He works his feet through the ball, throwing 85 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is athletic and the front foot gains ground as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands work quick and clean with the bat. On the mound, the fastball sat 79-80 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 66-67 mph,  big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch, sitting at 72-73 mph. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4. The top half needs better tracking to the plate as he comes offline quickly. The arm speed is good and if the direction is cleaned up, he will throw hard.
