Threw 75 mph down to second base, pop time of 2.09. The transfer foot work can improve as he matures. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the ball. The bottom half is under control. The path is long and strong to contact, uses a 1-handed finish after contact. Showed the ability to stay on the ball throughout the swing.

6-foot, 205-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Continues to improve behind the dish, threw 76 mph down to second base during the catching portion of the workout. Pop time is 2.01, the slot is short and quick to throw. . The receiving is solid and he shows the ability to block and receive softly. Ran a 4.45 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 90, the hands are strong and whip the bat head. The setup is even in base, front foot slightly open to start. The front foot steps into the pitch, as he initiates the hands. The path has lift in it, shows the potential to hit for power in the future. A very good 2020 prospect behind the dish.

5-foot-11, 205-pound right-handed hitting catcher who displayed legit hand speed at the plate. Solid frame as the bottom half is thick and durable. Threw 70 mph down to second base in the defensive workout, the pop time was 2.18. The transfer, footwork and arm strength all have room to improve as he matures. The receiving needs to continue to improve as he matures. Ran a 4.66 down the line on his dig to first base. Tee exit velocity of 89 mph. The set up is wide, feet turned in and the barrel is maneuvered with hand strength. Uses a 1-handed approach to finish the swing. The path is quick to the ball and he showed legit hand speed on a swing in the abbreviated game. Like the life in the bat.
