FUTURE GAMES

Dylan Vigue: SS/RHP, (2023) Groton School, MA. 6-foot-3, 195-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 94 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is above average, shows an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 86 mph; has soft consistent hands, a clean exchange, and athletic consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a loose very quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.16. Projectable above average on the mound, showed a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with above average developing arm speed. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher and shows some effort. Displays falling off shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands open with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 86-87 mph; shows arm side control and running action with heavy movement. Has fading action and arm side control on his changeup (77-78). His slider (72-74) showed arm side command and tight late action.

Position: SS/RHP

Body: 6-foot-3, 195-pound lean athletic frame.

Hit: (RHH) Projectable. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 94 mph exit velocity. 

Defense:  (OF) Soft consistent hands, athletic consistent footwork, clean exchange. Projectable.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. 

Arm: 86 mph outfield velocity. Loose very quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.16 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Projectable above average. tall-and-fall feel delivery, some effort. high ¾ arm angle, above average developing arm speed, long loose arm action. Consistent balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

FB: T87. 86-87 mph. Arm side accuracy, running action, heavy movement. 

CH: 77-78 mph. Arm side command, fading action. 

SL: 72-74 mph. Arm side command, tight late action.

Dylan Vigue: SS/RHP, (2023) Groton School, MA. 6-foot-2, 180-pound mature frame. Athletic during batting practice, Vigue had a max exit velocity of 97 mph. Begins in a wide stance with a tight load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, displayed an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Smooth showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 86 mph; showed athletic feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 86 mph; has a clean exchange, sure hands, and athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Above average on the mound, showed above average arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a very quick arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-86 mph; showed control in the zone and sinking action with heavy movement. He showed sweeping action and in the zone command on his 11/5 curveball (66-67). Had late action and in the zone control on his sharp splitter (75-76).  He is a good looking prospect on the mound and should garner serious attention if the spin pitch improves.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Smooth. (OF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Athletic.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. 

Arm: 86 mph infield velocity. 86 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Pitching: Above average. Up-tempo delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, above average arm speed, very quick arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, an athletic finish.

FB: T86. 85-86 mph. In the zone accuracy, sinking action, heavy movement. 

CB: 66-67 mph. In the zone command, sweeping action, 11/5 shape. 

SP: 75-76 mph. In the zone command, late action, sharp movement. 


8/26/20

6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. He ran a 7.39 sixty at the event. The approach in the middle of the field is online and athletic. The feet remain active and he shows soft hands. He threw 79 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. Keep in mind he is coming off a bout with tendonitis as well. The bat has an exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot open to start. The front foot closes down and he gets to the front foot as the swing is produced. The hands work and produce an uphill path at contact. He is a solid player, who I like on the mound as well.

Exit Velocity- 89 mph

INF Velocity- 79 mph

6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and utility player. On the mound, the fastball sat 79-80 mph with downhill tilt at times. The slider is solid in shape, 69-70 mph. The split has solid action, sitting 70-71. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4 in action. The tracking is solid and he stays with his arm. I like him on the mound. The approach in the outfield is online and athletic, he threw 84 mph. The feet and glove in the infield work appropriately, he threw 83 mph during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is open to start, closes down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. He does make a concerted effort to stay inside the ball and use the whole field. The hands work well through contact.

6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder.  He also worked out defensively in the outfield. The approach in the outfield is online and athletic, he threw 86 mph with plus arm whip and carry. The glove is soft in the infield, throwing 79 mph across the diamond, as the feet stay active throughout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The front foot steps into the swing and the hands have good buggy whip to them . On the mound, the fastball sat 81-83 mph, arm side action to the pitches. The spin pitch is solid in shape, sitting 70-71 mph. The changeup is a split at 72-74 with fade action to it. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The tracking is solid on the top half. He does slow down his hand on his secondary pitches, needs to keep the hand speed the same on all of his pitches.

6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed pitcher and middle infielder. Ran a 8.0 sixty on the laser at the event. The approach in the infield is appropriate as the feet work properly to and through the ball. Threw 83 mph across the diamond. Worked out in the outfield as well, aggressive approach, throwing 80 mph. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The front foot steps into the swing. The path is long and uphill to contact. On the mound, he is a legit prospect. The fastball sits 80-81 mph, with arm side run. The spin pitch is good in shape, sat at 68-69 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery has minimal crossfire to the feet and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The tempo is appropriate and he repeats the delivery. The arm works quick and clean. Good looking arm.
