5-foot-8,150-pound right-handed hitting first baseman and outfielder. Ran a 4.6 down to first base on his dig. Threw 73 from outfield at the workout. The approach to the ball is athletic and he moves well enough to play both corner outfield spots. The routes are done appropriately. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Starts with his feet wide and hands set low. The hands work well and freely. The path is clean, flattening the path would help as he top spun numerous balls during batting practice. The front foot has a pick and put down to it as the ball approaches. The hands have plus life and the frame is thick and durable.

8/02/17

5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and first baseman. Showed an appropriate approach in the outfield, throwing 69 mph from the outfield. The foot speed down to first base is 4.78 on the dig. Showed the ability to kick into first base as well, moving well around the bag. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. Hits out of a even base, picks up and puts down the front foot. The path to the ball is long as he goes out and around with the hands. Getting the hands more direct to the ball will aid in shortening the swing.
